a message from the director of vocations
I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome our (soon-to-be) new Director of the Office of Vocations for the Archdiocese, Fr. Matthew McCarthy. He will assume this new role on Thursday August 27, 2020 (as I return to parish ministry).
Fr. McCarthy has been an important part of the Vocation Council for the past several months and has served as part of the Discernment Team while also simultaneously serving as Associate Pastor at St. Michael’s Cathedral Basilica for the past year.
It has been a great joy to serve the Archdiocese of Toronto as Vocation Director for these past 6 ½ years and I will continue to serve you until August 27 as I assist Fr. McCarthy in his transition.
Faithfully in Christ,
God has made each of us in His image and likeness. When He created you, He willed in you a specific purpose that can bring deep fulfillment and profound joy.
A vocation is the particular way that God calls you to live out your life.
